*Overview* We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Your ability to communicate effectively and your passion for sales will contribute to the overall success of our retail environment. *Duties* * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. * Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed. * Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing returns or exchanges. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high standard of customer service. * Utilize basic math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and transactions. * Communicate effectively with diverse customers, leveraging multilingual skills if applicable. *Requirements* * Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store cleanliness. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with customers from various backgrounds. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate pricing information. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. * A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. * Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour Expected hours: 4 ? 30 per week Shift: * 4 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Afternoon shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Morning shift Work days: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * sales: 1 year (preferred) * Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationGreater Sudbury, ON
