Job details
*Title:* F&I Office Manager
*Reports to:* The F&I Office Manager will report to the General Sales Manager as well as the General Manager of the dealership.
*Job Overview:* The F&I Office Manager is all about controlling the sale. Taking over where sales team left off and making sure that all vehicles that are sold, end up delivered. Organization and customer service is the day to day for the F&I Office Manager and working with sales, aims to increase the profitability of the dealership.
*Responsibilities and duties*
* Work with clients and potential clients through the entire Finance and Insurance process including offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers
* Provide customers a thorough explanations of aftermarket products and extended warranties, and a complete explanation of manufacture and dealership service procedures and policies
* Work with the credit facilities and the customer to obtain credit approval. This includes collecting and submitting credit applications, restructuring deals or providing additional information
* Control and organize all paperwork regarding the sale of a vehicle including customer signatures, obtaining payoff, insurance information, prepare deal jackets with BOS and delivery dates
* Ensure accurate documentation, prepare lien searches, out of province reports, and CarProof reports
* Maintain current knowledge of manufacturer programs, rebate amounts, rates and ensure the proper program is utilized
* Work with the sales team and update deals with changes and create quotes
* RDR vehicles and maintain all required documentation
* Build vehicles in various configurators
* Work with reception to register vehicles and get plates
* Fill in required data inputs for reports
* Keeps up to date on the product offerings
* Introduce each qualified potential client to the General Sales Manager
* Other activities on occasion
*Qualifications*
* 2 years automotive experience (Required)
* Post secondary education in financial sector or a combination of education and experience
* Proficient in Microsoft office and various software systems
* Strong understanding of sales, finance, and management
* Excellent customer service skills
