Albion Auto Tirecraft is looking for an ambitious and energetic General Manager with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Albion Auto is a very busy automotive, tire, rental and repair shop located in Amherst, Nova Scotia, and we?re looking for someone to not just maintain business but grow it. *Responsibilities Include:* * Accountable for successful operation of the store * Work alongside all staff including customer service staff, technicians, detailers and rental counter staff * Promote and generate sales for all aspects of the business thus driving sales and profitability * Maintain responsibility for all staff * Marketing all aspects of the business and services provided through various means including social media * Resolve any customer questions, concerns or complaints * Monitor and control general overhead & expenses of the store * Ensure staff compliance with required health and safety regulations * Maintain high level of customer service and satisfaction *Must-Have:* * Excellent organization and multitasking abilities * Strong problem-solving expertise * Effective listening and communication skills * Manual dexterity for typing/keyboards * Computer literate (training to be provided) *Qualifications:* * Must have 3 years of retail/management experience, preferably in a * similar industry * Solid understanding of vehicles & repairs an asset * Knowledge of marketing & advertising * Varied business experience * Proven sales experience *Compensation:* * $45,000 to $60,000 /yr + health benefits and other perks If you have strong leadership ability and enjoy working with customers and in a busy team environment, please send your resume to Mike Allen, Owner *mike@amherstchrysler.com* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * Store discount * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationAmherst, NS
