*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work well as a member of a team and a passion for dentistry.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
* Perform all the intra oral and extra oral duties required of a Level II RDA .
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
* Manage patient records using dental software, our office uses Power Practice.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
* Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks related to patient management.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
* Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental technology.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
* Familiarity with CADI software is a plus.
* Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
* Proficiency in using Power Practice or similar dental management software.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant training is preferred.

Pay: $18.34-$33.85 per hour
