*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chiropodist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating foot and lower limb conditions, providing comprehensive patient care, and ensuring optimal outcomes for patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, pain management, and acute care practices, particularly in pediatric settings. *Duties* * Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot health and overall lower limb conditions. * Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings. * Administer appropriate medications and treatments as required. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Maintain accurate patient records using UNIVERSAL or similar electronic health record systems. * Perform data collection for research purposes to enhance treatment methodologies. * Educate patients on foot care, prevention strategies, and management of chronic conditions. * Stay updated with the latest advancements in chiropody and related fields. * Perform Biomechanical and Gait Assessment for Foot and provide Orthotics / Orthopedic shoes *Skills* * Strong knowledge of pediatrics and experience in acute care settings. * Proficient in medical terminology relevant to podiatric practice. * Expertise in pain management techniques for effective patient treatment. * Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment. * Familiarity with UNIVERSAL or similar electronic health record systems for documentation purposes. * Ability to conduct research and data collection to support clinical practices. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
