Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dental professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support. Your role will involve assisting with various dental procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean and organized dental environment. If you have a passion for dentistry and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist - Prepare materials for impressions and restorations - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care - Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes - Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar - Perform general office duties such as answering phone calls, managing patient inquiries, and maintaining inventory of dental supplies Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assisting program preferred - X-ray certification required; additional certifications in CPR or dental radiography are a plus - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
