Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Work setting: Metal product fabrication industry. Sheet metal shop. Tasks: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products. Document work completed. Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Brakes. Shears. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Bending. Cutting machine. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Organized. Team player.
