*Position Summary:* Western Mechanical Electrical Millwright Services Ltd. is seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic at our company in Barrie, Ontario. The department oversees maintenance for our company forklifts and lifting devices. Work will vary from one project to another. *Applicants Must:* * Work well independently and in a team environment, * Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and * Have a willingness to learn/build on previous experience. *Key Duties & Responsibilities:* The successful candidate will have previous experience that demonstrates their ability to accomplish tasks including, but not limited to: * Preform required services on equipment powered by propane, diesel, or electric. * Responsible for routine maintenance, preventative maintenance and repairs as required. * Use diagnostic tools to trouble shoot and complete repairs accordingly. * Ensure repairs are documented and records are retained in accordance to organizational policies and procedures. * Moderate to heavy lifting and operation of machinery. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. *License:* * Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician (421A)(an asset) * Ontario G Class driver's license (required) * 2-4 years of related experience (required) *Term, Hours of Work and Compensation:* * This is a full-time position * 44 hours per week * Monday ?
