*Duties*
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Perform electrical inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Compliance with Health and Safety Act requirements,
- Compliance with Company and Customer H&S policies and safe work practices
*Qualifications*
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrician 309A in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario
- Water/Wastewater Experience considered an Asset
- New Clean Water and Wastewater facilities.
- Retrofit of Clean Water and Wastewater Facilities.
- MCC installation and commissioning.
- Instrumentation installation and commissioning.
- Motor Controls and modification of control systems.
- Troubleshooting of motor control systems.
- Rigid Conduit, Cable Tray, PVC Conduit Experience.
- Proficient in Electrical Systems installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
- Some computer skills preferred, Outlook, Excel, Adobe
- Must possess a valid class G Driver?s License with a clean driving record and access to a reliable means of transportation,
- Be willing to work weekends and participate in the on-call schedule as required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills required (fluent English writing and communication skills)
- Safety Certifications in WHMIS, First Aid Level A, Confined Space - Non-Entry Rescue, Working at Heights, Aerial Work Platforms, Arc Flash Safety, Lock Out and Tag Out considered an asset. Training can be provided if not available.
