*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication preparation, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients. A strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy practices is essential for success in this position. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceutical supplies. * Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles. * Support the pharmacy team in maintaining compliance with health regulations and safety standards. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care outcomes. * Assist in the training of new staff members as needed. *Qualifications* * Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable. * Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred. * Knowledge and experience working with Pharmacy software, such as Kroll, is preferred. * Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and customer service. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Familiarity with medication administration processes is a plus. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
