*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. *Responsibilities* * Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. * Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. * Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff. * Ensure that all food handling and safety standards are followed at all times. * Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas. * Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Support other team members in the kitchen as needed to ensure smooth operations. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. * Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to help others in the hospitality setting. * Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as necessary. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
