*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional meal preparation in a fast-paced kitchen environment. We specialize in authentic Greek cuisine as well as classic pub style dishes. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our dishes, while adhering to food safety standards. *Duties* * Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menu specifications. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. * Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. * Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Knowledge of meal preparation techniques, food handling, and food safety standards. * Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen setting. * Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality presentation of dishes. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
