*Summary:*
We are actively seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is critical for those with a robust background in warehouse operations, a strong work ethic, and the capability to manage detailed tasks precisely. Responsibilities include overseeing both inbound and outbound warehouse operations, developing and enforcing standard operating procedures, and effectively managing warehouse equipment and manpower.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Operational Oversight: Direct all aspects of warehouse operations, including picking and packing, sorting and labeling, shipping and receiving and etc.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance of the assigned department, including monitoring daily KPIs and ensuring efficient task completion. Serve as a primary contact between management and front-line employees.
- Cost-Effective Operations: Implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of warehouse operations, ensuring optimal use of resources and reduction of waste.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain compliance with health, safety, and security regulations to ensure the protection of all personnel, equipment, and property.
- Staff Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training for all new hires and casual laborers. Regularly update the team on operational priorities and tasks.
- Scheduling: Manage the scheduling of team members, monitor attendance, and ensure adherence to work schedules.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improving safety, quality, and efficiency within the warehouse operations.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Physical Requirements: Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
*Qualifications:*
.- Proven track record as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse procedures and legal guidelines of the field.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, WMS, TMS.
- Certification in warehouse supply chain management is preferred, but not required.
