*Job Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dog Trainer to join our team. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the bond between dogs and their owners through positive reinforcement training methods. The Dog Trainer will play a vital role in educating clients on effective training practices while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for both dogs and their owners. *Responsibilities* * Conduct individual and group training sessions for dogs, focusing on obedience, behavior modification, and socialization skills including puppy classes. * Provide clear instructions and guidance to dog owners on training techniques, reinforcing positive behaviors. * Maintain a clean and safe training environment, ensuring all equipment is in good condition. * Promote a positive atmosphere that encourages learning and fosters strong relationships between dogs and their owners. *Requirements* * Proven experience in dog training or related fields is preferred; certification from a recognized dog training program. * Strong understanding of canine behavior, body language, and effective training techniques. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling large breeds or equipment. * Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for animals are essential qualities for this role.
