<p><b><span>With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger.</span></b><br> </p><p><span><b>Job Description</b>:</span></p><p></p><p><span><span><span>As an<span> </span><b>Order Picker</b>, you will help continue to grow our online business and customer relationships by taking online customer orders and picking the product ready for customer pick-up or delivery in a timely manner.</span></span><br><span> <br><b>Position Responsibilities:</b> </span></span></p><ul><li><span>Pick, organize and verify orders for delivery or pick-up</span></li><li><span>Utilize appropriate lift truck equipment to prepare customer orders (training provided)</span></li><li><span>Working in a team environment to support customers at our service desk - includes general customer questions, taking customer calls, operating the cash register and doing product returns for customers</span></li><li><span>Utilize computer terminals and/or Home Depot portable phone to check inventory, look-up orders and notify customers when product is ready for pick-up </span></li><li><span>Ability to plan ahead for future deliveries and streamline process</span></li></ul><p><span><b><span>Experience/Knowledge Required:</span></b> </span></p><ul><li><span>Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends</span></li><li><span>Computer skills required in order to identify product and vendor information</span></li><li><span>Previous forklift and/or lift truck experience is an asset but not required</span></li><li><span>Time management and organizational skills required</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication, customer service and problem solving skills</span></li><li><span>Ability to read delivery invoices an asset</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of/hands on experience with store products an asset</span></li><li><span>Candidates should be comfortable lifting merchandise to organize for customer pick up</span></li></ul><p></p><p><span><b><span>What sets us apart:</span></b></span></p><ul><li><span>Health and Dental Benefits</span></li><li><span>Growth and Career Advancement - including Tuition Reimbursement</span></li><li><span>Profit Sharing and Stock Purchase Plan</span></li><li><span>Paid Training & Career Development opportunities</span></li><li><span>10% shift premium (Overnight roles)</span></li><li><span>The Home Depot Core Values - Excellent Customer Service, Creating Shareholder Value, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Taking Care of Our People, Respect for All People, Doing the Right Thing, Building Strong Relationships, Giving Back</span></li></ul>- LocationRed Deer, AB
