We envision a bright future in Coquitlam that we hope includes you!About You / What We Are Looking ForThis position reports to the Building Services Supervisor and provides front line customer service and janitorial duties while following a facility schedule. These physically demanding duties will be safely performed under general supervision and work performance will be reviewed to ensure we are providing superior janitorial and related services to our residents. Furthermore, you will utilize your strong communication skills, while working courteously and effectively with the public. If you would like to utilize your customer service and janitorial skills in a welcoming high performing team environment, we look forward to your application!The ideal candidate will have completed some high school education, preferably have completed janitorial courses, and have some related work experience. Please note that an equivalent combination of training and experience may also be considered.Minimum QualificationsA minimum of 2 years of related experience, as well as a Building Service Worker certificate is an asset. A driver?s license for the province of BC is required (with satisfactory driving record). What We Offer:This CUPE position has an hourly rate range of $27.30 - $31.97 (2024 rates). The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills.
