*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to perform various tasks related to excavation and site preparation. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. *Duties* * Operate excavators, backhoes, and loaders to dig, build, and grade land for construction projects. * Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. * Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. * Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on job sites. * Assist in paving operations as needed, ensuring proper material handling and application. * Maintain a clean work area and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately. *Experience* * Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators, backhoes, loaders, and graders. * Mechanical knowledge is preferred to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery. * Familiarity with commercial driving practices is a plus for transporting equipment as needed. * Previous experience in construction or related fields is highly desirable. * Ability to work long hours in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality of work.
