*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
*Duties*
* Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, handling reservations and guest inquiries.
* Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about hotel services and amenities while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
* Assist guests with special requests, complaints, or issues, ensuring their needs are met during their stay.
* Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using hotel management software.
* Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
* Provide local information and recommendations to enhance guests? experiences in the area.
*Skills*
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
* Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software.
* Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
* Previous experience in a front desk or hotel environment is preferred but not mandatory.
* Excellent verbal communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
