Job details
Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Confined spaces. Wet/damp. Work setting: Various locations. Commercial. Institutional. Residential. Tasks: Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Instruct apprentices. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors. Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment. Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Plumber Trade Certification. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Client focus. Excellent oral communication. Team player. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently a student?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
