Internships are structured learning experiences where interns and our full-time professionals work together on daily responsibilities and may have opportunities to assist in projects and allow students to integrate knowledge and skills in a manner that is mutually beneficial to the student and Volvo Financial Services.</span></p><p></p><p><span>VFS Canada is currently looking for post-secondary students for Winter Intern/Co-op paid positions to provide support with various projects and tasks to support the business.</span></p><ul><li><span>Internship Duration: January - April 2025</span></li><li><span>Location: 238 Wellington St E suite 300, Aurora, ON L4G 1J5, Canada</span></li></ul><p><span>You will work under direct supervision and perform requested tasks alongside experienced professionals and various teams.</span></p><p><span>This is an opportunity for a student to explore and learn about the captive automotive business, under the guidance of the industry?s best professionals. In addition, you will build job-ready skills and experience at a large Canadian-based global company. The program offers the opportunity to work in various departments including, Operations, Asset Management, Customer Service, and Insurance.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Specific responsibilities, projects, and/or activities are listed below but may vary based on business demands and/or the individual student?s skill sets and development needs. In one of these roles, you will:</span></p><ul><li><span>Provide general project support</span></li><li><span>Support daily activities of the departments</span></li><li><span>Work closely with our Operations team to ensure booking accuracy with the company?s requirements relating to the retail funding of lease and loan transactions</span></li><li><span>Assist in the review of the pre-funding retail transactions</span></li><li><span>PPSA Registration filing in support of retail transactions</span></li><li><span>Provide support within our insurance tracking function by following for updated insurance policies through customer and broker contact</span></li><li><span>Provide accurate and timely payout quotes, audit balance confirmations, plating letters, account reconciliations and amortization schedules</span></li><li><span>Be the point of contact for lease assumption/loan takeover information gathering and document processing</span></li><li><span>Investigate & resolve billing & contract discrepancies, including required refunds</span></li></ul> <br> <ul><li><span>Actively enrolled in college or university</span></li><li><span>Highly motivated, dynamic person who has a knack for detail, organization, patience and communication with others</span></li><li><span>Good verbal & written communication skills</span></li><li><span>Good organization & attention to detail skills</span></li><li><span>Collaboration & team skills</span></li><li><span>Good analytical and problem-solving skills</span></li></ul><p><span>VFS is an equal opportunity employer.
