Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Maintenance. Repair. Overhaul. Shopwork. Tasks: Assemble mechanical equipment. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. Operate machining tools to fabricate parts. Welding techniques: Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG). Gas metal arc welding (GMAW). Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). Equipment and machinery experience: Hydraulic system. Lathes and other machining tools. Power tools. Welding equipment. Forklift.
