Sales Associate should have the following qualities: * Friendly and outgoing personality. * Must be knowledgeable in computers and commonly used business software. * Quick and accurate typing and data entry. * Certified/graduate of a graphic design program is an asset. Duties and Responsibilities of the Sales Associate include: * Greet customers and determine how to exceed their expectations. * Receive, sort and place mail in mailbox accurately. * Record all sales transactions on POS system and accurately process case, debit/credit transactions. * Receive and process packages for couriers including lifting and weighing of packages on scale, accessing appropriate software or manifesting manually, and correctly labeling packages. * Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products. * Track and trace shipments. Process traces and shipping claims. * Close out cash at end of day including: reconciliation of cash, cheques, credit/debit cards. * Operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment and all other office machines in a safe, efficient and productive manner. Help customers operate appropriate equipment. * Open and close security gate daily. * All other duties as assigned. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.20 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * On-site parking * Store discount Shift: * Day shift Work days: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * sales: 1 year (preferred) * Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Serving It Right (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationWaterloo, ON
