<p>Buffalo Trail Public Schools is committed to maximizing student learning in a safe and caring environment supported by a highly effective team. <p>Buffalo Trail Public Schools (BTPS) is actively seeking graduate student teachers to join our amazing team once they have graduated from a Bachelor of Education (or other graduating) program.<p>Review the Procedure for obtaining Temporary Teaching Authority with Buffalo Trails School Division.<p>To support you in becoming a substitute teacher in BTPS you will need to provide the following forms completed in their entirety for your application to be considered:<p> Pre-Certification Letter : the letter sent from the registrar. A copy of your Alberta Teaching Certificate must be submitted once received<p> Temporary Teaching Authority Form <p> Cover letter : addressed to Ms. Camille Quinton, Assistant Superintendent Human Resources, requesting authorization to teach in our division<p> Resume : which includes a chronological listing of previous teaching experience (grade/subject) and IFX and AFX placements<p> 3 Professional references : must have email contact information detailed in your profile (letters may be included). If you a letter of reference from the principal and/or co-operating teacher form a recent practicum, you may also include them<p> New Employee Form with VOID personal cheque attached <p> Conditions of Employment Form : signed and witnessed (the witness cannot be a spouse or relative)<p> School Listing Form : must have at least one school selected<p> Computer use Agreement Form <p> Original Criminal Record Check : must be within the last 6 months of when applying, the original must be mailed/dropped off at the Central Services and will be returned to you at your request<p> TQS statement : You can request your TQS to be sent directly to hrteachers@btps.ca on your behalf. If you have applied and it hasn't been issued yet, you must submit a copy of the letter. You may be approved to sub without a TQS statement but it may impact payment at grid. <p> Canada Revenue Agency Federal Personal Tax Credits Return Form (TD1) <p> Alberta Personal Tax Credits Return Form (TD1AB) <p> Dean of Faculty of Education letter of Clearance : to be forwarded to hrteachers@btps.ca once you have received your employment letter from the Superintendent to provide to the Dean to issue your clearance letterDocuments must be completely filled in. For example, you will be asked for your SIN on the employee form and you must also fill it in on both the tax forms.<p>Upload your cover letter and resume in their mandatory fields. The rest of the required documents upload into the "additional documents section".<p>Closing Information: <p>Applications must be submitted online, via Apply to Education.
