Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Nurse midwife/nursing midwifery. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Coordinate patient care. Evaluate patient care and progress. Provide primary, full-course, care to women and their babies during pregnancy, labour, birth and the post-natal period including monitoring the health of mother and baby. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial authority for midwives. Specialization in family practice: Obstetrics.
