CUPE LOCAL 2512 <p>Lunch Hour Supervisor(s) - Supply List - Level 1 <p>Specifics on location/schedule identified below <p>Seniority is not a determining factor <p> <p> <p>The Waterloo Catholic District School Board with a total student population of 23,000, provides services to students in 50 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12) across the Waterloo Region.<p>The Board conducts intentional recruitment and selection as it seeks to achieve a state of greater equity for employees and students and to diversify its workforce.<p>All qualified applicants are welcome and encouraged to apply and applicants may choose to indicate if they are from a group who has experienced racial or social discrimination. If you are interested, See the Application Process below. <p>General Description of Duties: <p><p> Ensure the safety and security of students during the lunch period at Elementary and Secondary Schools.<p><p>Minimum Requirements: <p><p> 18 years of age or over;<p> Canadian citizen with Social Insurance Number or valid work permit to be eligible to work in Canada<p><p><p>Desirable Assets: <p><p> Experience working with children<p> Willingness to assume a wide variety of duties;<p> Ability to communicate in a sensitive, courteous manner with students, parents, staff and the general public;<p> Ability to work as a team player;<p> Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.<p><p><p> <p>Salary Range: $24.20 - $25.46 per hour, Level 1 (Compensation Grid effective September 1, 2023) <p>Hours of Work : 1 hour per day between the hours of 11:00am to 1:30pm (Monday to Friday)<p>Effective Date: As soon as possible<p>Weeks/Year: Approx. 41 weeks/year (September - June)<p><p>Application Process: <p>All applications will be submitted through Apply to Education portal simply start the application process by selecting the "apply button" provided.
