Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Record all measurements and other information obtained during survey activities. Determine precise locations using electronic distance measuring equipment. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Field skills experience: Operate survey equipment. Operate total station to obtain information about property boundaries. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
