*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving a recycling truck and completing curbside route collections. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the job. If you are passionate about driving and you are a team player we encourage you to apply. *Duties* * Operate trucks and collect municipal recycling at curbside. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding issues on route that may arise. Demonstrate great customer service skills. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. * Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any mechanical issues. *Experience* * Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). * Strong understanding of road safety regulations. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job. * Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with maps. * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. * Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.
