Job details
We are currently in need of an experienced and skills licensed 309A Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible to install, modify, repair wiring, electrical devices, all electrical distribution equipment and associated electrical equipment, read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and comply with all current electrical codes as well as supervising and training electrical apprentices on the job. Qualifications: - Licensed 309A Electrician - Must be able to work well on a team - Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment, - Have strong interpersonal communication skills. Job Duties: · Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations · Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation · Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards · Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with appropriate codes (e.g., Canadian Electrical Code) · Running tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation · Inspecting electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards · Managing peers (dividing job tasks, work as a team) · Training apprentices and/or coworkers Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Extended health care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift Experience: * 309A Journeyman Electrician (Canadian experience): 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Drivers Licence (required) * 309A Licensed Electrician (required) Work Location: On the road- LocationToronto, ON
