POSITION Software Developer (Power Platform) LOCATION Edmonton, Alberta or Remote YOUR OPPORTUNITY The ideal candidate should be a self-starter and a driven individual that is willing to enhance their career within a growing business. KV Capital has experienced rapid growth over the past number of years, which is expected to continue, and therefore will present many opportunities for the Software Developer to professionalize and scale the IT platforms. The successful candidate should be a Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics expert user, experienced software developer, strong communicator, problem solver, and an all-around team player; all in alignment with KV Capital's growth-oriented agenda. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, your key responsibilities will encompass: * Drive the development of Dynamics 365 CRM (Sales Enterprise). * Use the Power Platform to design and develop process automation solutions, model driven apps, and overall integration between the software platforms used in the business. * Bring forward looking technologies into the business such as AI Builder and Co-Pilot. * Plan and execute software training workshops for KV Capital employees. YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS?? To excel in this role, you must possess: * Proficiency in building Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Power Apps Studio. * Experience with custom connectors and Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls. * Ability to implement complex business logic using Business Rules and Plugins. * Expertise in designing and implementing automated workflows using Cloud Flows and Business Process Flows. * Experience with advanced expressions, variables, scopes, and error handling in Power Automate. * Knowledge of HTTP actions and JSON parsing * Ability to integrate with various data sources and services, including Microsoft Graph API, Azure Services, and third-party APIs. * Deep understanding of Dataverse tables, relationships, and advanced data modeling techniques. * Experience with Dataverse API, including the Web API. * Knowledge of implementing Business Process Flows, Workflows, and Custom Actions. * Familiarity with data integration tools like Data Flows and XRMToolbox. * Experience with Solution management. NICE TO HAVE, NOT REQUIRED Any of the following would be a benefit, but not required: * AI Builder. * Copilot Studio. * Power Pages, Liquid Templates, Web Templates, Entity Lists, and Entity Forms. * C#, .NET Core/Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ribbon Workbench, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and Custom APIs. * OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT Tokens. * Application lifecycle management, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Power Platform Build Tools, and GitHub. * Data Loss Prevention, Power Platform Admin Center, Microsoft Compliance Manager, Security Roles, Field Level Security, Column Level Encryption, etc. APPLY NOW!
