At Kitchener Nissan, we foster a "promote from within" culture, offering training, competitive pay, benefits, and employee incentives on vehicle purchases, parts, and service. *Job Overview* We are looking for an Automotive Controller/Accounting Manager to manage the dealership's accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial and management background, particularly in automotive bookkeeping, and experience with PBS dealership systems. *Responsibilities* * Oversee all accounting activities and manage financial reporting processes. * Streamline and integrate accounting systems and procedures. * Provide business operations consultation and identify improvement areas. * Prepare monthly dealership statements, account reconciliations, and month-end tasks. * Generate quarterly consolidated statements and compliance documents for Scotiabank. * Supervise accounting staff and manage deal processing, accounts receivable/payable. * Handle payroll processing and manage benefits. * Prepare tax filings (HST/PST/WSIB/Corporate Tax remittances). * Reconcile bank accounts and manage floor plan payouts. * Administer HR processes for new hires and terminations. * Oversee administration staff. * Perform other duties as assigned by Kitchener Nissan. *Requirements* * Minimum 3-5 years of automotive bookkeeping/accounting experience. * Strong proficiency with PBS dealership systems preferable and advanced Excel skills. * Proven track record of leading and motivating staff. * Strong discretion and confidentiality. * Diploma in accounting or related field required.
