*Sandwich Maker *
*Daily hours* ? 4am ? Noon
\*Approx. 60 people per day (including guests and staff)
*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker/ Prep Cook for to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that every sandwich is made to perfection. You will play a vital role in maintaining food safety standards while providing excellent service to our customers.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and assemble three types of sandwiches daily? according to guest dietary requirements and menu standards.
* Cutting, chopping and slicing sandwich toppings, such as meats, cheeses and vegetables
* Baking off cookies
* Making Soups and stocks ? Keeping dietary issues top of mind.
* Package up lunches according to ski group lists (provided daily) in a timely manner.
* Wrapping, labelling and packing in correct bin for transport so guest gets their correct sandwich in the field.
* Prep everything needed for the following day before end of shift. Take out bread, etc.
* Cleaning and disinfecting workstations and utensils
* Storing food properly during and after shifts
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including all food preparation surfaces and equipment.
* Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, including proper food handling and storage practices.
* Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
* Must be able to work alone and under pressure, timing must be exact for lunch transport in the morning.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with CMH staff and hotel team members
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*
* Good health condition
* Ability to lift and carry heavy items properly
* Demonstrated interest in food preparation and kitchen operations
* Time management skills
* Basic food preparation skills
* Basic cleaning and maintenance skills
* Knowledge of the products, cooking, sector, and industry in general.
* Courses in first aid, FoodSafe, and handling of workplace hazardous materials are assets

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 4.5 months
Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
