*Job Summary* We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and food preparation, with a creative flair for cake decorating and an understanding of food safety standards. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that delight our customers and contribute to the success of our establishment. *Duties* * Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes. * Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail to meet customer specifications. * Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. * Package baked goods for sale, ensuring presentation meets quality standards. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service during busy periods. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries about baked products. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within a restaurant or bakery setting. * Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients, including cake decorating skills. * Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in both baking and presentation. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. * A passion for baking and creating delicious products that satisfy customer needs.
