*Accounting Technician* Stand alone role in a non profit organization providing all the operational accounting from data entry to preparation of financial statements. Must have extensive experience with: * Sage and Microsoft Office, * payroll and administering benefit plans for 10 employees, * preparing and submit government reporting, * conduct bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, * preparing financial statements preparing working papers for auditors, and * creating budgets. You must be: * self starter, * a team player * have excellent communication skills both written and oral, * reliable, and * organized. Enjoy working in a fast paced small office with satellite offices that changes the lives of Veterans and their families, every day. Willing to step outside your main role to assist others. No phone calls please . Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * RRSP match * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * Sage: 5 years (required) * Bookkeeping: 8 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
