Notre équipe, experte en Supply Chain et Logistique, parle votre langage et évolue dans votre univers.</p><p>We are looking to fill the position of Demand Planner for a distribution client located in Ville St-Laurent. <br> <br>Reporting to the Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the demand planning process for his/her portfolio. He/she must establish a monthly demand forecast by product/warehouse based on sales history and include the impacts of Marketing/Sales business plans. <br> <br> <br>Reporting to the Department Manager: <br> <br>Update and adjust sales forecasts based on past data. <br>Prepare demand plans for new products. <br>Correct discrepancies between forecast and actual sales. <br>Analyze market and customer trends to refine forecasts. <br>Optimize sales forecast parameters. <br>Resolve supply issues with relevant parties. <br>Create and manage project tracking tools. <br>Set up and monitor performance indicators. <br>Identify and correct factors affecting performance. <br>Encourage positive leadership and contribute to corporate objectives. <br>Collaborate with product and procurement teams. <br>Actively participate in S&OP meetings with various departments (Marketing, Sales, etc.). <br>Foster a good working climate with all employees. <br>Contribute to the improvement of demand planning processes. <br>Perform other tasks as required. <br>Apply procurement policies and procedures.</p><p>- Bachelor's degree in administration (operations and logistics management) or industrial engineering <br>- Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar position <br>- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) <br>- Excellent knowledge and experience with data management software (Access) <br>- Experience with inventory and warehouse management software (ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS) <br>- Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken <br>- Experience in the retail sector <br>- Have worked in a similar logistics model <br>- Any combination of training and experience relevant to the job will be considered. <br> <br>The ideal candidate is... <br>- Team player with strong interpersonal skills <br>- Rigorous, well-organized and able to manage several projects simultaneously <br>- Ethical, professional, confidential and discreet <br>- Resourceful and self-reliant <br>- Experience in facilitating or participating in demand planning meetings</p>
