Fetch Express is looking for a full-time delivery driver to bring our customer?s pet food orders to their homes and workplaces throughout the Lower Mainland. Our delivery zone extends from Whistler to Chilliwack, with different zones being serviced each day of the week. Our delivery service operates Monday-Friday during daytime hours. Our drivers operate in our own branded and refrigerated light-commercial vans. Previous courier experience is not required, but it is important to note that we are a busy delivery service and a typical day for one of our full-time drivers can have 40+ orders to deliver, so you must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Physical fitness is also an important factor to consider as we specialize in raw pet food, so frequent lifting of 20-30lbs is to be expected. As you are the face of our business while out on deliveries, it is important to us that our drivers are safe and courteous on the road and provide excellent customer service to our customers so their delivery experience is just as friendly and enjoyable as when they come to visit us in-store. You must also love dogs, as those are really our most important customers! *Responsibilities* * Safely operating our vehicles and ensuring they are kept clean and presentable. * Loading your deliveries in an organized manner and taking care with any fragile items * Offering friendly and courteous service to our valued customers * Following any customer provided notes to accommodate delivery instructions * Ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time *Qualifications* * Class 5 or higher driver?s license, with a clean driving record (sorry, we can't accept drivers with an N) * Ability to lift or carry up to 40-50lbs repeatedly throughout the day * Comfortable driving in all weather conditions (pets still need to be fed in the rain and snow!) * Fluent in English *What We Offer* * Competitive wages, with a training wage of $22/hour and wage increases after probationary period * Generous team member discount for your pet's food and treats * A fun, friendly and close-knit team of staff If you think this opportunity is a good fit, we would love to hear from you!
