We are looking for an office cleaner. This person will be responsible for ensuring all office areas are clean, neat, and sanitary. The role involves a variety of cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, and trash removal. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and be committed to maintaining a safe and pleasant work environment.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Dust and wipe down desks, chairs, and office equipment.
* Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop hard floors.
* Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
* Empty trash bins and replace liners.
* Cleaning the dishware and operating dishwasher.
* Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
* Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
* Notify management of any repairs or replacements needed for office fixtures and equipment.
* Assist with setting up and cleaning up after office events and meetings.
* Perform additional cleaning duties as requested by management.
* Sanitizing high touch surfaces like door handles.
* Cleaning and sanitizing strip curtains in warehouse.
* Dusting equipment in warehouse like racks, scaffolding.
* Sweeping/mopping the warehouse floors as required or as asked.
* Replenish PPE like hairnets, gloves, sanitizers, hand soaps in food handling areas as required.
* Reporting any cleaning supplies needs.
*Qualifications:*
* Previous experience in office cleaning or a similar role preferred.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
* Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
* Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Reliability and a positive attitude towards maintaining a clean workspace.
* WHMIS training would be an asset.
*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
*Schedule:*
Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM to 6:00PM
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
