*KITCHEN MANAGER* JOB DESCRIPTION * Scheduling kitchen staff and ensuring all required shifts are covered * Developing the restaurant & catering menus along with prep levels and par levels * Costing both the restaurant and catering menus * Establishing par levels for all inventory * Ordering all inventory and ensuring sufficient stock * Cooking and preparing food as needed * Training all kitchen staff * Memorizing recipes and standard portion sizes * Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe on the menus * Ensuring that coolers and freezers are stocked for each shift * Maintaining freshness of product and rotating out old product * Working in conjunction with other staff * Maintaining a clean, sanitary & safe workspace to avoid contamination * Being aware and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines * Opening and closing the kitchen according to the provided guidelines * Receiving and storing deliveries * Developing & executing events in conjunction with the General Manager * Completing an inventory of all food on the 1st of each month * Performing employee evaluations in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager * Direct Supervisor ?
