Are you experienced in warehouse operations and ready to make an impact? We're looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team and help with picking and shipping orders, repacking items, and organizing inventory. If you have a background in warehouse work and basic computer skills, this could be the role for you! Key Responsibilities * *Order Fulfillment:* Pull and pack products based on daily orders with precision. * *Packaging and Shipping:* Weigh, measure, and inspect packages. Use shipping software (e.g., Canada Post, UPS, Canpar, Loomis) to log shipments accurately. * *Package Preparation:* Select the correct packaging for each order, insert protective materials, and construct and seal the boxes. * *Shipment Verification:* Ensure the shipping labels are accurate, attach them to packages, and move shipments to the designated area. * *Inventory Maintenance:* Update records, verify picked orders against packing slips, and keep the inventory organized. * *Workplace Standards:* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to health & safety guidelines and quality standards. Skills & Qualifications * *Experience:* Minimum 1 year as an order picker preferred. * *Tech Skills:* Solid computer skill, especially excel. * *Education:* College, GED, or equivalent. * *Physical Requirements:* Able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring dexterity and agility. * *Attention to Detail:* Strong eye for accuracy and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively. * *Communication:* Clear verbal communication skills. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $16.59-$21.72 per hour Expected hours: 35 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Education: * AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required) Experience: * warehouse: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Class 5 Licence (preferred) Location: * Concord, ON L4K 4H8 (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-25- LocationConcord, ON
