Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Hire, supervise and schedule staff. Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property. Schedule events, programs and activities. Schedule work. Plan and direct grounds maintenance. Plan and estimate labour and materials. Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work. Read blueprints and drawings. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervision: 3-4 people. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for newcomers and refugees: Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Support for mature workers: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination . Supports for visible minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.).- LocationNiagara Falls, ON
