Catalyst Surgical is a new plastic surgery clinic in Toronto serving the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, with a specialty in gender-affirming surgery (top surgery, facial fem/masc, body contouring). *Please note: The supplementary screening questions are expected to have answers on this application. * *Overview:* We are looking for a OR scrub nurse who can also perform the duties of circulating nurse. You may be asked to fill-in for recovery nurse. *Responsibilities:* - Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members to develop surgical plans and ensure proper execution - Provide patient education and support regarding surgical procedures, recovery, and post-operative care - Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in medical records - Collaborate with case management teams to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth transitions between healthcare settings *Must have:* -Current Certificate of Competence with CNO -*Completion of an Operating Room Nursing Course* -BLS/ACLS required -Demonstrated ability to handle and triage multipe priorities -Comfort with technology (EMR, messaging systems, mobile tech) *Great to have:* Experience, lived or acquired, in the transgender/gender diverse community and/or in T/GD care is an asset. Experience in plastic surgery, ENT, OMFS also an asset, but not required. Ability to suture Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not encompass all tasks or responsibilities that may be required.
