Reporting to the Electrical Coordinator, the Automation Programmer will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the control system. He/she will also be involved in project development. He/she must be able to program controllers, operating interfaces and databases. Based at the Windfall site, located in the Nord-du-Québec region, he/she will be required to work a schedule of 15 working days followed by 13 days off. Transportation, lodging and meals provided. Task and responsibilities Assist the engineer and/or senior technician in the design, layout and technical implementation of the instrumentation and automation aspects of projects; Controller programming; Operator interface programming; Instrumentation specification; Prepare instrumentation and P&ID detail drawings; Follow-up on completed projects and operations; Pre-operational checks and commissioning; Update drawings and documentation; Work in- LocationLebel-sur-Quévillon, QC
