Demands, duties, qualifications Definition of Work: Reporting to the Regional Manager of Rehabilitative Services (with clinical oversight the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy clinical leads) this position is a para-professional position involving therapeutic work as directed by a Licensed Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist. Duties involve assisting with delivery of client directed intervention plans and performing a variety of department maintenance activities. The successful candidate must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for promoting and supporting person-and family-centered care, demonstrate a commitment to safety and partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks and implementing improvements. Required qualifications:? Completion of an approved Rehabilitation Assistant Program. ? Demonstrated knowledge of body mechanics and lifting techniques.? Willing to work a flexible work schedule.? Driver's license required? A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.?
