*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in various industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). The Millwright will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.
*Responsibilities*
* Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment according to specifications.
* Read and interpret schematics to understand mechanical systems.
* Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance activities and managing work orders.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues, including low voltage systems.
* Collaborate with other trades such as HVAC technicians to ensure comprehensive maintenance solutions.
* Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with industry standards.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role within an industrial environment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
* Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
* Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
* Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
* Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
