*About us* We are a group of Automotive Repair Collision Centres. - Collision Repair Experts London (TD Insurance Auto Centre) - Collision Repair Experts Kitchener (TD Insurance Auto Centre) - Fix Auto Brantford *Position Overview:* The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations, providing strategic insights, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management, with a strong understanding of industry-specific accounting practices and financial analysis. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Financial Reporting:* Oversee , prepare and presentation of accurate financial statements, including project-specific reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. * *Compliance:* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial controls. * *Government Remittance and Payroll: *Review and file HST returns, review bi-weekly payroll, ensure source deduction and other government remittance payments are made on time. * *Cash Flow Management:* Monitor and manage cash flow. Day to day banking. * *Team Leadership:* Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting their professional growth. * *Process Improvement:* Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting *Qualifications:* * Bachelor?s degree in Accounting. * Experience in financial management * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. * Experience with QuickBooks * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management * Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing finance teams.
