Persons with an intellectual disability. Hospital or home for the aged. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Nursing home/home for the aged. School or educational institution/establishment. Tasks: Analyse clients' capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews and formal assessments. Consult and advise on health promotion programs to prevent disabilities and to maximize independent function in all activities of life. Develop and implement treatment programs. Evaluate treatment progress. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists Membership. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Eligible for professional liability insurance. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
