Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide and supervise the provision of excellent professional service to all patients/customers to support appropriate and safe patient care.
2. Perform, supervise, and review the creation and maintenance of complete patient profiles including, but not limited to, medications, medical conditions, medical history, allergies, and documentation of patient care activities and services.
3. Perform, supervise, and review drug preparation and distribution activities. This includes understanding and adhering to the pharmacy?s patient record filing and workflow policies and procedures such as scanning processes, patient counselling areas, designated ?in and out? areas, wait time, etc.
4. Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of patient/customer information.
5. Maintain sufficient inventory for appropriate patient care and efficient operations.
6. Monitor and remove expired medications in accordance with provincial legislation.
7. Assist in ensuring that all patient care areas are clean, tidy and organized. This includes, but is not limited to, areas such as the dispensary, counselling areas, clinic rooms, waiting areas, and sink(s). Assist in ensuring supplies are checked, restocked and ordered as necessary.
8. Assist the store Owner(s) and pharmacy team to develop and implement a pharmacy services plan to achieve patient care, customer service, and financial goals.
Pharmacy Health Care Services/Program Responsibilities:
In addition to dispensing services, the pharmacy also offers other health care services such as, but not limited to, administering injections, medication reviews, minor ailment assessments, and prescription adaptations. The Pharmacy Manager is responsible to the Owner(s) and the rest of the pharmacy team to determine which services the pharmacy will offer, what training is needed, and developing an implementation plan.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48.00-$51.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:
* Canadian Pharmacist: 1 year (preferred)
* Kroll: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* OCP License (required)
* Injection Certificate (preferred)
