We are looking for an optometric assistant/dry eye therapist to join our growing team! Our full-scope, 5 doctor Optometry clinic is located in the heart of Carleton Place. We pride ourselves on being community oriented and dedicated to the highest level of patient care. We are searching for a new team member who shares these same core values. Responsibilities include: * Warmly welcoming patients as the arrive for their appointments * Patient care coordinator duties which include booking appointments, phone calls, emails, faxes, referrals and other administrative tasks * Verify patients OHIP eligibility and aid with insurance billing * Preliminary testing before patients see the Optometrist * Performing automated visual field (peripheral vision) tests * Assist in our dry eye clinic: aiding in performing in-office treatments such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy and Radiofrequency (RF) Experience working in an Optometric clinic/Certified Optometric Assistant (COA) designation is an asset but not required.
