Job details
* Welcome and acknowledge all guests * Address guests? service needs; assist individuals with disabilities * Ensure that check-in/check-out standards are met; accommodate special requests whenever possible * Know room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates. * Inform housekeeping department of changes to a guest?s stay * Book and record accurately all hotel reservations or inquiries * Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy * Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures * Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures. * Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial, accounting and auditing information * Reconcile all revenue postings from outlets * Thoroughly understand how to deal with credit payments, cash-handling policies. * Understand how to close out a shift, responsible for balancing all shift cash and credit/debit card transactions * Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises * Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors Work Remotely * No Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $18.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company events * Company pension * Dental care * Disability insurance * Discounted or free food * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Night shift * Overtime * Weekend availability Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
