*Job description* *Key Responsibilities:* * Drive and Collect: Operate trucks with automatic transmission to collect solid waste, yard waste, and recyclables along assigned routes (routes may vary daily). * Inspections & Reporting: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete truck reports, route sheets, and necessary documentation. * Vehicle Maintenance: Report any mechanical issues to the mechanic or supervisor immediately. * Safe Operation: Follow safety protocols to prevent mechanical failures and ensure efficient operations. * Compliance: Adhere to national, provincial, and local vehicle operation regulations. * Cleanliness: Maintain clean vehicles inside and out. * Teamwork: Attend daily safety meetings and collaborate with team members. * Work Balance: Balance driving and physical labour (50/50 split). *Requirements:* * Experience: 1-2 years of DZ/AZ driving experience required. We are looking for experienced drivers (no newly licensed drivers). * License: Valid DZ and/or AZ License with a clean driver's abstract. * Physical Stamina: Ability to lift/move up to 80 lbs regularly. * Adaptability: Willing to work in all weather conditions, year-round. * Equipment Familiarity: Knowledge of collection equipment is a plus. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $24.04 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 44 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 12 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift Experience: * Truck driving: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person- LocationWindsor, ON
