*Graphic Designer ? Contract * Danijel & Co. is a multi-faceted agency that offers business with marketing, communications, and I.T. solutions. Our Managing Director, Danijel Slisko, has over 30 years of business scaling experience and has been a vital member to Calgary?s current and growing business community. D&Co. media production division Cerco Design www.cerco.design is looking for a positive, confident, and outgoing Sr. Graphic Designer who has a passion for continuously learning, wanting to put their design, and problem-solving skills to the test. As a Sr. Graphic Designer, you will be working with our creative team to build dynamic, modern, and functional products. You will need to use your skills to improve and create custom designs and provide support. *Responsibilities * · Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations to meet their communication needs. · Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients? objectives. · Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations. · Co-ordinate aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials. · Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements. · Adapt existing illustrations. · Adhering to the procedures and guidelines of the company. *Skills* · Bold and daring personality. · Customer service-oriented mindset with focus on providing exceptional experiences. · Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design · Strong proficiency in design fundamentals. · Self-driven and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment and deliver high-quality design work under tight deadlines. · Expert in Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software. · Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly to clients. · Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials · Ability to stay helpful, polite and confident, and have the resources to resolve customer issues. *Qualifications* · Bachelor?s degree in graphic design and web development or related fields · Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on branding, digital, and social media. · Demonstrated portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects across multiple mediums, with a focus on brand identity and digital experiences.
